Parent Ambassador Program

NJPCSA’s Parent Ambassador Program is a year-long program that empowers parents with the tools and resources to support their child, their charter school, and their community.  Through this program, parents receive training to take their learnings and establish their own school-based parent groups to ensure that as charter school parents, their voices are heard and uplifted within their communities and across New Jersey.

Parents learn how to market their school and engage in the program through recruitment events, stakeholder meetings at their schools and in Trenton, story-telling, canvassing to highlight the facts about charters, social media outreach, and more.  If you are interested in learning more about this program, please reach out to Alexis Ulaj, Director of Advocacy and Community Engagement at NJPCSA ([email protected]).
